I’m a massive fan of Gizmodo, but sadly this sponsorship deal annoyed me enough to immediately shut down the window. This is the online equivalent of having a Mini, branded to look like a big can of Red Bull, pulling up next to you uncomfortably closely at your desk.
Bring back the old Gizmodo.

Sydney Festival kicks off with Santogold, Ajax and Bag Raiders

The Sydney Festival kicked off in style with Brooklyn’s finest export, Santogold playing the opening night on Saturday. The sound was great, and surrounding artists, Ajax and Bag Raiders totally kept the crowd going. The Sydney festival lasts 3 weeks and is well worth checking out.

Prince is back for 2009… After a year off, he’s returning with not one, but 3 albums this year. His 2007 “21 nights in London” were record breaking in more ways than one. Now his PR people are pushing the news, that he’s back, and that makes us happy…
Stay tuned for some of the funkiest music you have ever heard in 09. Prince already allowed a few fans to check his latest jams out, but those internet links are dead now, so you’re gonna have to just wait like the rest of us.
In the meantime, check London’s funkiest cover band, the Blunter Brothers. To see them live, check their site.
